Job Summary
As an Installer 1, your responsibilities are to assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.

Qualifications
• 1-6 months experience in relatable fields or related school training is preferred
•Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
•Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
•Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday
•Attention to detail
•Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent customer service skills
•Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
•Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
•Must have a valid state driver's license
•Must have a clean driving record
•Walk or run for long periods of time
•Climb ladders, scaffolds, or poles
•Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
•Understand the speech of another person
•Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place

Responsibilities
•Assemble all components of a residential solar system
•Handle trenching and concrete work
•Install mounts and rooftop install of the direction of the Lead
•Maintain a clean work site and safe working environment
•Loading Truck, prepping panels
•Properly use Personal Protective Equipment
•Job site clean up
•May perform required travel for extended periods at a time
•Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety tailgate meetings
•Other duties as assigned
•Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
•Repeat the same movements
•Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls
•Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
•Keep or regain the body's balance or stay upright when in an unstable position

Physical Requirements
• Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily
• Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., daily
• Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
• Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges), on a daily basis
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
